Sigh. We're still stoked about phones with built-in projectors, but we're not at all okay with the first commercially-available unit being the nasty Epoq EGP-PP01 iPhone clone -- yet we've got to hand it to China King for being the first out the gate with a handset that'll beam a 30-inch VGA image on the wall for two hours off the built-in battery. Of course, that doesn't mean we think anyone should actually drop $550 on this uninspired piece, but if you've absolutely got to show off your witty texting banter to the entire bar, this is your only option.
Here's an iPhone App that made the cut - the iHologram. It works with both the iPod touch and iPhone, offering graphics that seem to leap off the display in the manner 3D hologram stickers do.
Another leak proven true - the Canon EOS 50D that will see the EOS 40D out the door. It might look rather similar to its predecessor at first glance, but as with the case of the Transformers, there is more than meets the eye. Some of the specifications of this new monster include :-

It may not be the most glamorous briefcase I've ever seen but the new Checkpoint Flyer Briefcase by Tom Bihn has one very important feature, it can slide through airport checkpoints with your Mac safely inside a sleeve, saving you the awkward fumble of taking out your computer, putting it into a bin and sending it through the chute unprotected along with umpteen other Apple computers.
This time we bring to you a pair of golden shoes that don’t look gaudy but simply mind-blowing. This uber-luxurious pair of sneakers was created by Robert Coin, the acclaimed jeweler, in order to celebrate the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The sneakers are made of 24-karat gold-varnished nappa leather and are later coated with a PVC lacquered film to add sheen and protection. If that doesn’t sound opulent enough, what if we told you that the sneakers also have an 18-karat gold clasp and Robert Coin’s signature ruby studded?
