Acer has jumped aboard the nettop revolution Stateside with a brand new AspireRevo R3610-U9012, where this extremely compact nettop has a volume of all but one liter. At that size, it is extremely tiny despite managing to cram in enough parts that help it deliver a decent performance in terms of an entertainment center for the whole family. Have both screens facing you, or have one facing you and the other facing away from you for someone else to view. The image automatically inverts when the monitor is flipped. The Mimo 720-S is the touch screen version of the freshly minted Mimo 710-S USB auxiliary screen. It’s a 7″ 800 x 480 USB monitor but it’s been redesigned to fold flat against its base to protect the screen and to give you multimonitor mwa-ha-ha wherever you deploy. The price of portability is a decrease in versatility as the screen can still be rotated but you lose the height adjustment. No word on price as yet but the non touchscreen version is US$149.99 and available now for shipping around the end of August.

What a sweet little monitor, did you grow it yourself? The Mimo Mini USB Monitor plugs, surprisingly enough, into your computer’s USB port and therefrom delivers a 7 inch portrait or landscape image of whatever you wish to display separate from your main screen. Perfect for wasting your life tracking Twitter messages or watching mindlessly vapid YouTube videos of unhappy teenagers railing about their paltry pocket money. $129.99.

The NEC's new 43-inch curved LCD on sale July, featuring 2880 x 900 pixel resolution, it looks amazing! It will cost you $8,000! More specs: 200 cd/m² brightness, 0.02ms Rapid Response, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, Wide color gamut with 100% coverage of sRGB and 99.3% coverage of Adobe RGB, USB Ports, DVI-D and HDMI 1.3 input connectors. As its $8000 price tag, you may consider to get two 21" LCDs.

With so many LCD monitors to choose from these days, what are some of the choices available to the common man? Well, Samsung has just added to your headache by compounding the “problem” with a trio of new 70 Series Monitors, and they are the P2070, P2370 and P2370HD. Two of these slim LCD monitors will feature a screen depth of 30mm, while the P2370HD is measured at 65.5mm. The three of them will also boast Samsung’s very own Touch of Color (ToC) design.

Impress is a "real" flexible interactive display, developed by Silke Hilsing. The prototype was built by foam and using pressure sensitive sensors that reacts to your movements on the screen.
