Take Blumenhofer Acoustics from Germany, for instance. The company has announced the availability of their three-way horn speakers, Clara Luna. The 16-inch midrange unit of the speaker system comes from TAD of Japan, while the system’s titanium dome tweeter is done by the company themselves. With an entire active woofer with a diameter of 21-inches, frequency response of 16Hz to 20kHz ±2dB and sensitivity as high as 102dB, this 165 x 61 x 71cm, 200kg Clara Luna system costs €95,000 (approx. $141,439).
