I believe that hover technology is possible, and an episode of Mythbusters showed prototypes that were, at best, gigantic slow moving air hockey pucks. This is essentially what the Air Board is.

I even saw a clip from an old Wife Swap episode which had the “Balloon Boy” family playing with hover technology, and it seemed to work better than their little charade.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a helicopter with a USB port but this Tiny USB Helicopter from Brando is pretty darn cute. With twin LEDs for night missions and gyroscopes for stable flight it should get where it’s going and get back safely. It’s controlled via an infrared controller which can also recharge the helicopter, however the controller needs six AA batteries. It also looks like it comes with spare blades and tail rotors. I’m not too sure about you, but am I the only one who wonders whether the Twilight Turtle will induce nightmares in your kid instead of having it put your little one to dreamland faster?
